Position Overview

Title: Material Handler C

Objective: To efficiently and accurately supply materials to production lines and maintain clear work areas.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Good communication skills (oral and written)
• Dependable attendance and flexibility for non-standard hours

Job Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety policies and procedures
• Understand film, chip, and corrugated codes
• Basic knowledge of truck operations
• Perform pre-shift truck inspections and daily P.M. checks
• Properly place finished products
• Use basic math skills for ordering materials during changeovers
• Weigh scrap gaylords at shift end or during changeovers
• Differentiate between A, B, Peco, and Chep pallets
• Follow SOPs, cGMP, food safety, and safety guidelines

Work Environment

• Subject to extreme heat (>100°F for over an hour)

Physical Requirements

• Stooping/Bending

• Standing for long periods
