Job Overview

Position: Material Handler C

Objective: Facilitate the movement of raw materials, cardboard, chips, and scrap for the Extrusion Department.

Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Dependable attendance and flexibility for non-standard work hours
  • Ability to manage job-related stress and maintain productive interactions
Job Responsibilities
  • Adhere to company policies and safety guidelines
  • Familiarity with film, chip, and corrugated codes
  • Basic understanding of truck operations
  • Perform pre-shift truck inspections and daily P.M. checklists
  • Proper placement of finished products
  • Use basic math skills for material ordering during change-overs
  • Weigh scrap gaylords at shift end or during change-overs
  • Understand differences between A, B, Peco, and Chep pallets
  • Follow SOPs, cGMP, food safety, and safety procedures
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
  • Subject to extreme heat above 100°F for extended periods
  • Physical activities include stooping, bending, kneeling, and standing for long durations
