Job Description

The client seeks a System Administrator 2 to provide tier 1 and 2 helpdesk support. Onsite work will be at the agency’s Centre County Regional Office:

Bellefonte, PA 16823

The successful candidate must meet or exceed deadlines while performing duties including:

  • Providing Tier 1 and Tier 2 helpdesk support via hands-on, telephone, and remote assistance for local and field staff.
  • Configuring and installing personal computers, laptops, and tablets.
  • Installing approved peripheral hardware, including networked and local printers, multi-function devices, and agency-specific hardware.
  • Monitoring and responding to user-created tickets via the agency helpdesk system.
  • Providing basic hardware and software training related to desktop use and network access.
  • Working towards departmental and project deadlines.
  • Documenting and presenting recommendations for issue/risk remediation to team leads and managers.
  • Performing other duties as assigned.
