Job description

We are hiring immediately for a full-time A&P (Airframe & Powerplant) mechanic or AMT (Aircraft Maintenance Technician). This role is critical to our mission, so we are offering up to a $15,000 Sign-On Bonus.

What you will be doing as an A&P Mechanic:

You can expect to conduct thorough inspections, maintenance, modifications, and repairs on Cessna and Beechcraft aircraft models. Your responsibilities may include (but are not limited to):

  1. Travel: This position requires travel within the specific region. When not traveling, you will be working at the Milwaukee Service Center.
  2. Mechanical Duties: Perform a variety of mechanical tasks on various aircraft models, including diagnosing malfunctions, disassembly, rework, repair, replacement, reassembly, and adjustment of aircraft systems to prepare for flight and delivery.
  3. Engine and Airframe Maintenance: Perform troubleshooting, inspection, and repair of turbine engines, including engine run-ups. Carry out airframe system and component changes, systems checkout, and install service bulletins and kits on both airframes and engines.
  4. Use of Tools and Equipment: Utilize equipment such as tensiometers, micrometers, pressure gauges, dial gauges, vacuum gauges, timing lights, and various hand tools to repair or modify systems or assemblies.

What you need to be successful:

  1. High school education or GED required.
  2. A&P License.
  3. Knowledge of inspection procedures set forth in FAR Part 145 is required.
  4. A minimum of 3 years experience with diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, aircraft/flight maintenance.
  5. Experience on Cessna, Beechcraft, or Hawker aircraft is preferred.

EDUCATION:

  1. High school education or equivalent required.
  2. A&P License is required.
  3. Requires use of arithmetic, blueprints, and specifications plus knowledge of jet and piston airframe and engine principles. Must have comprehensive knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems.

EXPERIENCE:

  1. Requires a minimum of 3 years of diversified jet, turboprop, piston, modification, 100 hour and annual service experience as an A&P Mechanic.
  2. Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable.
