Job summary

Torch Technologies is seeking highly skilled Technicians to support the 96th Test Wing at Eglin Air Force Base, FL. The role is onsite with standard M-F, 8-5 hours, and requires U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a Secret DoD security clearance.

Responsibilities include routine testing, fault isolation to component level, and using standard diagnostic tools. Relocation not indicated, travel 0-10% as needed.

Qualifications

• U.S. Citizenship is required.
• Level 2: BS in applicable field and up to 3 years of experience.
• Level 3: BS in applicable field and 3-10 years of experience.
• Level 4: BS or MS in applicable field and 10+ years of experience.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret DoD Security clearance with active investigation.

• Performs routine operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment to ensure conformance with final product specifications.

• Utilizes routine manufacturing test or diagnostic equipment specific to the product.

Torch Technologies is seeking highly skilled Technicians to support the96th TW at Eglin AFB, FL.

As a Technician, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

• Performs routine technician duties
• Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts or defined plans to perform routine testing, checkout, and trouble-shooting functions of a simple nature.
• Performs routine operational test and fault isolation on systems and equipment to ensure conformance with final product specifications.
• Diagnoses and isolates malfunctions down to the component level.
• Conducts defined tests and collects data as assigned.
• Utilizes routine manufacturing test or diagnostic equipment specific to the product.
• Normally assigned to activities such as production, test, system checkouts, quality control or the like.

Required Qualifications:

• U.S. Citizenship
• Level 2 - BS in applicable field and up to 3 years of experience
• Level 3 - BS in applicable field and 3-10 years of experience
• Level 4 - BS or MS in applicable field and 10+ years of experience
• Must be able to obtain a Secret DoW Security clearance with active investigation. Must be able to maintain required clearance.

Schedule: M-F; 8-5

Work Location: Onsite at Eglin AFB, FL
