Valley Health is seeking a Per Diem Transporter to move patients throughout the facility by stretcher, wheelchair, or cookie chair. This role may include transporting medications with patients and connecting them to oxygen when needed.
Requirements include a High School Diploma and BLS certification; candidates should demonstrate strong documentation, communication, and customer-service skills and be able to stand and walk for extended periods while using handheld devices.

Pay Range
$17.00 - $20.40
Transporter is responsible for patient transport by stretcher, wheelchair or cookie chair to designated locations throughout the facility. Upon request, transports medications with patients and connects patients to O2, if needed.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Certification & Licensures
BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart ‘Healthcare Provider’ (HCP) - AHA approved required *
BCLS training provided
Qualifications
Previous healthcare experience preferred Ability to transport patients in wheelchairs, stretchers or cookie chairs required Ability to stand or walk for periods of time required Ability to use handheld electronic devices/computers required Excellent documentation skills required Excellent verbal communication skills required Ability to provide excellent customer service required
