Job summary

DC Army National Guard seeks a Small Arms/Artillery Repairer to maintain electronic systems across handguns to missiles. Training includes 10 weeks Basic Training and 7 weeks Advanced Individual Training with classroom and field work.

Eligible recruits learn electronic and mechanical principles, schematics interpretation, and operation of specialized test equipment while earning a regular paycheck and tuition assistance.

Job Description

Soldiers rely on their weapons to reign supreme on the battlefield. Working with everything from handguns and shotguns, to sniper rifles and ballistic missiles, the Small Arms/Artillery Repairer’s main responsibility is to maintain the electronic systems that keep these weapons firing for the Army National Guard.

Requirements
  • Military enlistment in the Army National Guard
