DC Army National Guard seeks a Small Arms/Artillery Repairer to maintain electronic systems across handguns, shotguns, rifles, and missiles. You will train through Basic Training and Advanced Individual Training, combining classroom and field work.
In this role you learn electronic and mechanical principles, read schematics, and operate testing equipment. You’ll earn a regular paycheck during drill weekends and qualify for tuition assistance and other benefits.
Soldiers rely on their weapons to reign supreme on the battlefield. Working with everything from handguns and shotguns, to sniper rifles and ballistic missiles, the Small Arms/Artillery Repairer’s main responsibility is to maintain the electronic systems that keep these weapons firing for the Army National Guard.

Job training for Small Arms/Artillery Repairers consists of 10 weeks of Basic Training, where you'll learn basic Soldiering skills, and 7 weeks of Advanced Individual Training. Training consists of both classroom and field work.
