As a non-commissioned 911 Dispatcher / Communications Officer, you are the critical connection working directly with citizens and first responders during both emergency and non-emergency circumstances. 911 Dispatchers / Communications Officers are part of the Police Department’s communications center which is staffed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Applicants must be willing to work nights, weekends and holidays. Entry level salary (with no related experience) is $45,000 / year.
