Position: Maintenance Worker (Position Number 9-25)

We are looking for a team member to join our Water Utilities and Public Works departments. This position is part of a progression plan ($15.64 to $21.81 per hour) with defined pay increases as you gain skills and knowledge through on-the-job training as well as specific certifications and licenses.

In this position, you will utilize a variety of power tools and hand tools to perform construction, maintenance, and repairs of water/wastewater systems, City streets, parks, and facilities.

Requirements:

1. High school diploma or equivalent
2. Valid driver’s license (must obtain Oklahoma Driver’s license within thirty days of hire)
3. Within six months of hire, you must obtain a Class B CDL with air brake and tanker endorsements
4. Class D Water Operator’s license
5. Class D Wastewater Operator’s license

The City will pay for you to get your required licenses and assist you with training.

Starting Rate: $15.64 per hour plus comprehensive benefits package including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, 401k, Annual leave, Sick leave, Holidays, and Personal Days.
