Job summary

We're looking for a compassionate and reliable tutor to support our 8th grade son with general homework help across core subjects (math, language arts, science, etc.). He is mainstreamed with support services and benefits from structure, encouragement, and a calm, consistent approach.

About our son:

Bright, creative, and capable, with a unique learning style

Diagnosed with autism; responds well to patient, clear instruction

Needs help staying organized and on task during homework sessions

• Preferred experience working with neurodiverse students or a goal of special education (but not required)
• Comfortable adapting explanations and pacing to fit the student's needs
• Positive, calm, and dependable
• Able to provide light academic coaching, organization strategies, and encouragement
