Job summary

Plainfield Community Middle School is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable Assistant softball Coach to help lead our student-athletes. The ideal candidate will foster athletic excellence, sportsmanship, and personal growth while building a competitive and positive team culture.

The position reports to the Athletic Director at Plainfield Community Middle School for the 2026-2027 season. This is a seasonal, stipend position based at the school.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will be dedicated, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable about coaching softball at the middle school level.
• Applicant should foster athletic excellence, sportsmanship, and personal growth while building a positive team culture.

Responsibilities

• Assist in coaching the 8th grade softball team and supporting player development.
• Help organize practices, drills, and game day activities under the Athletic Director.
• Promote sportsmanship and teamwork among student-athletes.
