Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or a closely-related field.
• Valid Pennsylvania instructional certificate appropriate for middle-level math as outlined by Pennsylvania Department of Education.
• Experience teaching a math curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with Pennsylvania state standards and the school/district curriculum.
• Facilitate hands-on, problem-solving and real-world math activities for middle school students.
• Regularly assess students' learning and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Create a positive, inclusive classroom environment and manage behavior.
• Communicate with parents/guardians and collaborate with colleagues and maintain records.
