Job summary

Brandywine Heights Middle School in Berks County, PA is seeking an eighth grade Learning Support long-term substitute to join our team. The teacher will deliver instruction, support student learning, and adapt lessons to meet varying abilities.

Required PA K-12 Special Education and Secondary English certifications; Reading Specialist and/or additional subject area certifications preferred. Schedule: full-time, immediate start following board approval. Salary ranges prorated per position.

NOW HIRING!The Brandywine Heights Area School District, Topton (Berks County), Pennsylvania, is currently accepting applications for a dynamic and dedicated Eighth Grade Learning SupportLong Term Substitute Teacher who willfacilitate student learning for academic and life-skills and developthe attitudesthat contribute to the fulfillment of their potential as mature, able and responsible citizens. The Learning Support Teacher provides appropriate instructional activities to students; develops or modifies curricula, and prepares lessons and other instructional materials according to ability levels, disabilities, and impairments of students.
Qualifications: PA K-12 Special Education and Secondary Englishcertifications required. Reading Specialist and/oradditional subject area certifications preferred.

Schedule: Full time position beginning immediately following School Board approval and completion of pre-employment requirements.

Salary/Benefits: Salary range $56,555 - $68,079 (prorated). Brandywine Heights Area School District offers a competitive salary which will consider experience, education and certification according to the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
