Kentucky Blood Center Inc. is seeking a friendly Donor Scheduler to join our Lexington and Somerset locations.

You will call donors and schedule appointments in a fast-paced outbound call center, using professional telephone etiquette and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Lexington Hours: Monday - Thursday 8am to 5:30pm

Somerset Hours: Monday - Friday 8am to 4:30pm - training will be approximately 1 week at the Lexington location.

Lodging is provided, and mileage will be reimbursed.

Pay: $14.00 per hour, based on education and experience, plus eligible for monthly performance-based bonuses.

Description: Seeking outgoing, enthusiastic individual to call donors and schedule appointments in a fast-paced professional outbound call center environment. Must demonstrate professional telephone etiquette, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and have a working knowledge of computers.

Working Environment & Physical Effort This position requires the ability to:

• Sit for extended periods of time.
• Fulfill basic clerical duties (typing/writing) for extended periods of time.
• Occasionally lift/carry up to 25 pounds without assistance.
• Occasionally bend or reach to perform various job tasks.
• Analyze complex situations and make sound decisions.
• Adapt to changing priorities and work under pressure.

Requirements:

• Must be 18 years old or older
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Proof of education/certifications required during the interview process.
• Pre-employment background check and drug screen are required.
