A local government agency in Medford, Oregon, is seeking temporary laborers for their Road Maintenance Division. Responsibilities include performing heavy manual labor outdoors, directing traffic, and assisting with road repairs. Candidates must be at least 18 years old, possess a valid Oregon Driver's license, and be in good physical condition. Various certification requirements apply. This is a seasonal position offering exposure to valuable skills.

We work all over Jackson County, Monday–Friday, with opportunities for overtime. We do most of our training in-house, with certified flagger training on the first day. Although these are seasonal positions, they do allow you to show us your interest and abilities, and allow you to become more familiar with the work we do and the equipment we use. Must be 18 years old. Position requires good physical condition with strength and stamina to do heavy manual labor for extended periods in all kinds of weather; ability to understand and follow oral and written direction; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
Possession of a valid Oregon Driver’s license and a good driving record. Possession of a valid Flagger’s Certification Card and a valid Defensive Driving/Safe Driving card or certificate of completion, or ability to obtain both certifications within 30 days of appointment.
