We are looking for an English-fluent Cloud Engineer, based in Latin America, available to work remotely.
We seek someone with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, who embraces change while maintaining strong attention to detail. An interested, proactive individual, constantly learning and improving their skills.

Are you the one we are looking for?

Responsibilities:

• Provide technical leadership, deep technology expertise, and architecture experience.
• Design and implement cloud solutions, ensuring successful integration of technologies into our environments.
• Design and define AWS architecture for new systems or migration of existing systems to the cloud.
• Perform expert-level AWS development and design, including logical system design, I/O design, cloud architecture analysis, and systems engineering.
• Write clean, extensible code with appropriate testing and documentation.
• Ensure security is integrated into all cloud architecture solutions.
• Develop technical roadmaps for future AWS cloud implementations.
• Mentor other members of the cloud engineering team.

Requirements:

• Advanced knowledge of AWS security, governance, and compliance tools.
• Advanced experience with AWS Lambda using Python/Node.js.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code (IaC), AWS CloudFormation, HashiCorp Terraform.
• Experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible and Chef.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes/AWS EKS and multi-cluster Kubernetes management.
• Experience with cloud-native CI/CD tools like AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, and CodePipeline.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• AWS Certified DevOps Engineer – Professional.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate or Professional.
• Experience with Azure and GCP.
• Experience with non-relational databases like Cassandra/Solr, AWS DynamoDB.
• Experience designing, developing, and maintaining PaaS and SaaS solutions.

Compensation:

• The salary range for this position is USD $2,000 - $5,000 per month, depending on seniority and skillset.
• This is an independent contractor role through a payroll platform.
• The talent will work remotely, allocated at our client’s location.
