Apave America Inc. in the St. Paul, MN area is hiring experienced NDT Level II Technicians for call out and travel work.

You will set up and calibrate radiography equipment, interpret results to applicable codes, and train RT Level I personnel on the job. Required: SNT Level II RT certification, IRRSP or State Card, 40 hours Radiation Safety, valid driver’s license, and ability to work outdoors in all weather. Apave America is Hiring: Experienced NDT Level II Technicians - Call Out/Travel Techs

Willing to support operations in St. Paul, Minnesota

Level II Radiographers must have sufficient technical knowledge and skills to be qualified to set up and calibrate equipment and to interpret and evaluate results with respect to applicable codes, standards, and specifications. The RT Level II must be thoroughly familiar with the scope and limitations of the methods for which they are qualified and shall exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training and guidance of trainees and RT Level I personnel. The RT Level II must be able to organize, and report results of NDT tests.

St. Paul, MN. Area

Required Skills and Experience:

• Current IRRSP Card or State Card required for Radiographers.
• SNT Level II certification in RT required for Radiographers.
• SNT Level II certifications in MT, PT, UTT will be considered an asset.
• Computed Radiography (CR) experience considered an asset
• Digital Radiography (DR) experience considered an asset
• Weld Quality experience required.
• Must provide proof of classroom training hours in RT/UTT/MT/PT.
• Must have 40 hours of Radiation Safety Training.
• Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions.
• Capable of training assistant radiographers.
• Valid Driver’s License and pre-access drug and alcohol testing required.
• Pre-employment background checks will be required.

Physical Requirements:

• Move, carry, and lift objects 50 lbs. repetitively.
• Must be able to walk, stand, bend, reach, and climb.
• Remain constantly active throughout shift.
• Vision abilities: close vision, distance vision.
• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions.
