ClinChoice is seeking a Senior Principal Statistician to join our biometrics team. This is a full-time, permanent REMOTE position with a focus on quality, professional development, and a supportive culture.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop protocols, including study design, sample size calculation, randomization, and statistical analysis plans.
  2. Provide statistical oversight to ensure quality and consistency with project requirements.
  3. Ensure data completeness, accuracy, and consistency for analyses.
  4. Prepare statistical analysis plans and contribute to reports and decision-making.
  5. Validate analysis methods and explore alternative strategies as needed.
  6. Apply extensive statistical knowledge to recognize and correct flaws in reasoning and interpretation.
  7. Maintain accuracy and consistency of statistical tables, figures, and report text.
  8. Draft and review statistical methods sections in reports, ensuring adherence to guidelines and consistency.
  9. Mentor peers in statistical methodologies and provide training to less experienced statisticians.
  10. Manage activities of statisticians across projects, coordinating assignments and reviewing work to ensure timely, high-quality delivery.
Qualifications:
  • MS or PhD in Statistics, Biostatistics, or related field. PhD with 5-6 years or MS with 7-8 years of experience.
  • Strong experience in Oncology Therapeutic Area.
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
  • Understanding of drug development processes and FDA regulations.
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or CRO industry, including interactions with regulatory agencies like the FDA.
