Position Level: All Levels

Salary: Up to $175,000.00 per year

Core Hours: 9am to 4pm

Location: McLean VA

Responsibilities

• Incident Detection and Monitoring
• Incident Analysis and Investigation
• Incident Response and Mitigation
• Threat Intelligence and Vulnerability Management
• Reporting and Documentation

Work Schedule: 4‑day work week, 10 hours per shift. First shift hours are 6AM‑4PM. Staff assigned to either Sun‑Wed or Wed‑Sat. Schedule fixed, no rotation.

Mandatory Requirements

• Developmental (0-2 years’ experience)
• Full Performance (3-5 years’ experience)
• Senior (6-10 years’ experience)
• Expert (11-15 years’ experience)
• SME (16+ years’ experience)

1+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Information Technology or Computer Science. Experience can be any combination of professional experience, internships, lab work or coursework.

Knowledge of SIEM systems, network security tools, and log analysis tools.

Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, incident detection, analysis, and response methodologies.

Knowledge of operating systems, network protocols, and security technologies.

Knowledge of the Mitre ATT&CK framework.

Knowledge of threat intelligence, vulnerability management, and security incident response best practices.

DoD 8570 IAT-II required (can be obtained after hire).

Optional Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field preferred.

Relevant certifications such as GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) or Certified Incident Response Handler (GCFA) are preferred.

Ability to solve complex problems using analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail.

Ability to use communication skills, both verbal and written, to present complex technical information to non‑technical stakeholders.
