Ethan Allen is looking for a reliable, energetic warehouse worker to assist in the loading and unloading of furniture and accessories on and off trucks following company procedures. This position requires good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects. Additional duties and responsibilities include the ability to inspect furniture for standards of quality; operate a lift truck and dolly; operate a barcode scan gun and associated scanning system and assist with unboxing furniture for inspection, when needed. Holiday, evening and weekend work may be required.

Education

High school education.

Experience

Minimum three (3) years' experience

Other Requirements

Ability to follow oral and written instructions. Ability to read, write, add and subtract whole numbers. Requires good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects. Ability to inspect furniture for standards of quality. Ability to operate a lift truck. Ability to operate a computer barcode system. Holiday, evening and weekend overtime work may be occasionally required.
