Weitsman Recycling, a leader in scrap metal and environmental services, is looking for a dependable and safety-minded 80-Yard Roll-Off Truck Driver to join our transportation team. This is a full-time, on-site role offering consistent local work, competitive pay, and full benefits. You'll be responsible for hauling large open-top containers between job sites, customer locations, and our yard facilities.
What You'll Do:
Safely operate 80-yard roll-off trucks for local pick-ups and deliveries
Inspect, load, and secure roll-off containers in compliance with DOT regulations
Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate logs
Communicate with dispatch regarding routes, delays, and job site instructions
Represent Weitsman Recycling with professionalism at customer locations
What You Need:
Valid CDL Class A or B license (roll-off experience required)
Clean driving record and current DOT medical card
Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience (roll-off or similar equipment a plus)
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs
Strong attention to safety, communication, and punctuality
Schedule & Pay:
Monday-Friday schedule with potential for weekend shifts as needed
Competitive hourly wage with overtime opportunities ($26)
Local routes - you're home every night
