NORTH BRANDYWINE MIDDLE SCHOOL in Coatesville, PA is seeking a 7th Grade Track Coach to lead practices, games and training sessions for student-athletes.

The successful candidate will monitor academic progress and behavior, liaise with parents and administration, and collaborate with coaching staff to build a complete track program. Availability after school, in the evenings, and on weekends is required; prior coaching or playing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

Job Description

Successful candidate will implement a successful 7th grade program: practices, games and training sessions; effectively monitor student‑athlete academic progress and behavior; liaison between administration, student‑athletes, parents and community; foster a positive relationship with the coaching staff and ensure smooth transition for student‑athletes as they progress through the school program; Previous playing and/or coaching experience preferred. Applicant should have knowledge of rules, strategy, teaching progressions and fundamentals. Must be available after school, early evening and weekends, and develop an effective supervision plan for student‑athletes at all times. Successful candidate will demonstrate a sincere desire to assist in building a complete program.

External Candidates must upload required clearances. This includes the Act 34 (State Criminal Clearance), Act 151 (Child Abuse) and Act 114 (FBI Clearance). All Clearances must be within 1 year of application date. Candidates not providing updated clearances will not be considered for employment.
