Qualifications

Requirements

• Previous coaching experience, preferably at the middle school level or equivalent, is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of basketball fundamentals, rules, and strategies.
• Ability to effectively communicate and interact with students, parents, and school staff.
• Strong leadership and motivational skills to inspire young athletes.
• Certification in CPR and First Aid is preferred or must be obtained prior to the start of the season.
• Ability to commit to the entire season, including practices and games.
• A positive attitude, patience, and a passion for teaching the game of basketball to young athletes.
• Must pass a background check as required by school policy.
