Job summary

Owen J. Roberts School District is seeking a 7th Grade Boys Basketball Coach at the High School location to lead organized basketball activities and foster personal growth in student-athletes.

The role involves assisting with practices, scheduling, and adherence to district policies, with a focus on safety and student development. The coach will supervise students during events, maintain equipment, and coordinate with the Athletic Director and Principal.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Pleasant, cooperative and positive work attitude.
• Good communication skills to interact with staff and public.
• Ability to perform job responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Submission of PA School Personnel Health form.
• Current Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances.

Responsibilities

• Supervise student/athletes during organized team events.
• Assist with organization and supervision of practices and games.
• Implement district policies and philosophies within the program.
• Maintain equipment, uniforms, and facilities in good condition.
• Report student obligations and prepare end-of-season reports as required.
