Job summary

Orono Public Schools' Orono Community Education is seeking 7th and 8th grade volleyball coaches for the upcoming season. You will coach middle school athletes, focusing on fundamentals, teamwork, and competitive play within a supportive program.

The season runs August 24 through October 13 with practices Monday to Thursday from 3:00 to 6:00 pm and 1–2 matches weekly (usually by 7:00 pm). Collaborative work with youth sports coordinators and clear communication with players, families, and school

Qualifications

• Understanding of fundamental skills and strategies.
• Effective oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated experience in collaboration with others.
• Understanding of the role of parent involvement and the ability to collaborate with parents.
• Commitment to supporting the whole student/athlete in athletic competition, academics, and in character development.
