Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in subject matter (or 24+ credit hours in subject matter with other degree).
• Valid Identity Verified Prints (IVP) Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and facilitate subject and grade-specific lesson plans.
• Provide subject instruction on a higher level in an interactive learning environment.
• Implement BASIS Curriculum by designing evidence-based lessons and assessments.
• Collaborate with BASIS teachers to develop curriculum material and a professional community.
• Tutor students in content knowledge to enhance academic trajectory.
• Manage student behavior to foster achievement and personal responsibility.
• Support non-instructional functions including Early Bird, Late Bird, and lunch.
• Maintain regular, full attendance.
• Supervise individual students and groups as needed.
