We are seeking an immediate hire for a Cylinder Technician/Truck Loader at our gas cylinder production and distribution facility in Baytown, TX.

Description:

The Cylinder Maintenance role primarily involves loading, unloading, moving, and storing gas and liquid cylinders, as well as other materials used in the manufacture of medical and industrial gases. This position also includes loading cylinders for inter-branch delivery.

Responsibilities:
  • Follow SOPs for manufacturing, storage, and handling of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with CGMP, HazMat, OSHA, and other regulatory standards
  • Properly store and segregate empty/full and industrial/medical cylinders
  • Safely move compressed gas or liquid cylinders
  • Load and unload cylinders and other materials, including inter-branch transfers
  • Report issues to the facility manager
  • Maintain cleanliness of the work area
  • Operate a forklift
  • Perform manual labor as required
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED preferred
  • Ability to read and write in English
  • Ability to move cylinders weighing 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver over 100 pounds (using carts, rolling, etc.)
  • Mechanical aptitude
  • Prior forklift experience is desired
