Job description

Coastal Welding Supply - an AWG Company has an immediate opening for a Class B CDL Delivery Driver in Baytown, TX. This position requires a Class B CDL with HazMat & Tanker endorsements.

Duties:

• Loading, unloading, moving, and storage of gas and liquid cylinders and other hard good supplies.
• Making deliveries to customers or other branches and filling out delivery tickets completely and accurately.
• Read, understand, and follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Comply with all DOT and OSHA Regulations.
• Move, load, and unload empty/full cylinders safely and efficiently.
• Ensure appropriate preparation and/or completion and accuracy of paperwork including but not limited to shipping papers and delivery tickets.
• Maintain cleanliness of vehicle.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Class B CDL Required with Hazmat and Tanker endorsement or the ability to obtain both endorsements.
• Clean driving record.
• Able to read and write English.
• Able to move compressed gas and liquid cylinders; lift 50-75 pounds frequently and maneuver 100+ pound cylinders (rolling, using a cart, etc.).
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, DOT physical, Background Assessment, and company administered road test.
• Ability to communicate with customers.
