Morning Prep Cook – Prairie Kitchen at 701 Eateries (Fargo, ND)
AM Shifts | Full-Time or Part-Time | Competitive Pay | Weekend Availability Required

Prairie Kitchen at 701 Eateries is seeking a dependable, detail-focused Morning Prep Cook to join our back-of-house team. We’re a chef-led, scratch kitchen focused on high-quality ingredients, consistency, and a supportive, team-first culture.

As a prep cook, you’ll be responsible for getting the kitchen ready for service—handling foundational prep work that keeps everything running smoothly from start to finish.

What You’ll Do:

  • Prepare ingredients: chopping, portioning, roasting, mixing, etc.
  • Follow recipes and prep lists accurately and efficiently
  • Put away truck and check received product
  • Keep prep areas clean, organized, and well-stocked
  • Assist with daily kitchen setup, labeling, and storage
  • Work early morning hours (typically starting between 8-10am )

What We’re Looking For:

  • Previous kitchen or prep experience is a plus, but not required
  • Strong work ethic and reliability—especially in the mornings
  • Great attention to detail and food safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for extended periods
