• Operate tractor/trailer in accordance with Company Policies, DOT Guidelines, and traffic laws during day or night in various conditions.
• Conduct and document pre- and post-trip inspections on truck and trailer.
• Secure cargo on trailer.
• Deliver products according to the route and schedule on the manifest.
• At customer locations, open, close, and secure trailer curtains and/or doors for unloading.
• Ensure product accuracy and quality by scanning product tags and visually inspecting as unloaded.
• Obtain customer signatures on proof of delivery and submit to dispatcher.
• Clean and sweep truck and trailer as needed.
• Operate and maintain a Mobile Electronic Onboard Recording device.
• Report truck, trailer, equipment issues, damage, accidents, and violations promptly.
• Maintain a professional appearance.
• Attend departmental safety and staff meetings.
• Must be able to pull a 175 lb. trailer curtain and re-strap loads.
• Must obtain a DOT medical card and pass a Work-Well Physical at hire.
