Job summary

Holdingford Public Schools is seeking a School Social Worker to provide 1:1 and group counseling, crisis intervention, and collaboration with families. The role involves supporting students with emotional, social, and behavioral challenges, developing 504 plans, and coordinating with district staff and outside agencies.

Start date is as soon as possible. Salary ranges from $46,000 to $80,000 based on education and experience; a Minnesota school social work license is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in social work is required.
• State MN Licensed Social Worker required; board licensure for school social work preferred.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1:1 and group counseling to students on emotional, social, behavioral and academic needs.
• Offer crisis intervention and de-escalation; report incidents to parents and staff.
• Collaborate with parents, outside agencies, and community providers to coordinate services.
• Develop and monitor 504 plans and related progress reporting.
• Deliver classroom instruction and participate in staff trainings and meetings.
• Maintain professional records, reports and referrals for students at risk.
