Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing the instructional program with the classroom teacher.
• Help students achieve success and develop positive feelings about themselves and school.
• Serve as model in developing children's language and behavior.
• Assist in implementing the student(s) IEP with certified staff.
• Prepare for instruction by collecting and creating resource materials and teaching aids.
• Provide support in the personal care of the child/children and ensure safety.
• Provide supports for students with physical, health or behavioral concerns.
