• Assists administration in implementing district policies and rules.
• Encourages students to set and maintain classroom behavior standards.
• Guides learning toward curriculum goals and communicates objectives to students.
• Assists in diagnosing learning disabilities with district specialists.
• Evaluates academic and social growth, keeps records, and prepares progress reports.
• Maintains accurate records as required by law and district policy.
• Provides help to students and parents during the school day.
• Supervises students in classrooms, halls, cafeterias, and during field trips.
• Distributes tests and homework and collects them for grading.
• Enforces policies governing students and grades assignments.
• Performs other duties as assigned by administrators.
