Job summary

Qualifications

• High level of content-area proficiency evidenced by teaching certification or relevant experience.
• Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year institution is required.
• Experience in a K-12 classroom is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement state standards and IDEA curricula to meet ambitious academic goals.
• Deliver grade-level content, objectives, and text with fidelity.
• Submit weekly lesson plans for feedback and improvement.
• Use assessments to track progress and adjust plans accordingly.
• Communicate student progress weekly with families.
• Maintain an effective behavior management system and positive classroom culture.
