Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of curriculum and instruction; ability to manage student behavior.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with district curriculum and show evidence of preparation.
• Provide accommodations for differences in individual student needs.
• Present subject matter according to Texas Education Agency guidelines and district policies.
• Use varied instructional strategies and materials to meet diverse learning styles.
• Assess student learning and adjust instruction based on results.
• Collaborate with special education staff to modify curricula per IEPs.
• Work with campus teams to set goals and methods; supervise aides and volunteers.
• Utilize technology to strengthen teaching and learning.
