We are seeking a dedicated 6th Grade English Language Arts Teacher for the 2025-2026 school year at James Madison STEAM Academy. This full-time, exempt position reports to the School Principal and offers a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid leave.

Position Details

• Location: James Madison K-8 STEAM Academy
• Contract Length: 2025-2026 / 190 days
• Salary: Based on experience and education, per Certified Salary schedule

Qualifications

• Required: Bachelor's Degree, Colorado Teaching License
• Preferred: Related experience, Bilingual skills

Job Responsibilities

The teacher will:

• Plan and implement engaging lessons tailored to student needs
• Create a positive and disciplined classroom environment
• Assess student progress regularly and communicate with parents
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in staff meetings
• Implement IEPs and maintain accurate records
