Job summary

Southeast Dubois County School Corporation seeks a 6th Grade Boys Basketball Coach to lead and oversee the school's basketball program at Cedar Crest Intermediate. The role requires organizational ability, prior coaching success, and ongoing study of coaching methods to improve team performance and character development

Qualifications

• Has the ability to organize and supervise a total sports program.
• Has previous successful coaching experience in assigned sport.
• Must have substantial knowledge of the technical aspects of the sport and continue to examine new theories and procedures.
• Must serve as a role model for student athletes through instructions and actions.

Responsibilities

• Represents and enforces athletic policies approved by the Southeast Dubois County School Corporation.
• Implements state and league regulations and interprets them for staff.
• Maintains proper command structure and routes requests through proper channels.
