6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Math Teacher: St. Christopher School

St. Christopher School is seeking a qualified middle school math teacher for the 2025-2026 school year. The candidate must hold a valid Ohio teaching license, possess or be willing to work toward Diocese of Cleveland religion certification, complete BCI and FBI background checks, and complete VIRTUS training.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Create a classroom environment where every student can succeed, establishing high academic and behavioral standards.
  2. Build positive rapport with students, parents, and staff.
  3. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students.
  4. Teach all approved curricula.
  5. Maintain a safe and conducive classroom environment.
  6. Use standardized test data to inform instructional decisions.
  7. Prepare and maintain accurate records and progress reports.
  8. Promote and uphold a professional environment.
  9. Collaborate effectively with colleagues and administrators.
  10. Participate in faculty professional development and evaluation systems.
  11. Perform other duties as assigned by the administrator.

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree.
  2. Appropriate criminal records verified through Ohio Bureau of Criminal Identification and Investigation and FBI checks.
  3. Virtus trained or in the process of training.
  4. Committed to student education in a suburban setting.
  5. Engaged in ongoing professional development.
  6. Proficiency in computer software and programs.
  7. Valid Ohio teaching license or certificate.
