Job summary

Colonial Group in Gallaway, TN is seeking a Packer to perform highly repetitive packaging operations for injection/blow molded components. The role requires accurate counting, inspection for defects, and proper labeling of cases.

Responsibilities

• Performs highly repetitive trimming, flaming, assembly, inspection, counting, and packaging of injection and/or blow molded components and parts
• Visually inspects product for defects as defined in the QAS (Quality Assurance Standard)
• Counts parts and individual packages within cases either by stack height or weight as required
• Ensures that cases are labeled correctly, in the proper sequence, stamped with an operator/packer stamp, and stacks cases on pallets
• Performs secondary operations as required
• Reworks/sorts defective product as necessary
• Maintains a steady rate of work as to meet or exceed standard labor costs
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions.
