Job description

TITLE: TN - Quality Auditor (3rd Shift)
POSITION OBJECTIVE:

The Quality Assurance Auditor will perform routine to complex quality assurance tasks. Must be skilled in measuring and testing parts to specifications, electronically recording data, and initiating corrective actions as applicable.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  1. Minimum of one year experience in a production/manufacturing environment; Certified Quality Auditor certificate preferred. Experience in plastic injection and/or blow molding is desired.
  2. High school diploma or equivalent; some college coursework preferred.
  3. Ability to read simple words and recognize similarities and differences between words and numbers. Capable of printing and speaking simple sentences.
  4. Proficiency in addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of two-digit numbers, using units of American money, weight, volume, and distance.
  5. Ability to understand and follow detailed written and oral instructions; capable of handling problems with a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
  6. Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with data input into database systems required.
  7. Dependable attendance and flexibility to accommodate non-standard work hours.
  8. Ability to manage stress effectively and foster positive workplace interactions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Complete operational lot control procedures and forms.
  2. Archive quality records and logs.
  3. Perform in-process product audits according to specifications and procedures.
  4. Create and complete 1st article inspection reports.
  5. Conduct periodic process audits and complete documentation.
  6. Assist shift personnel with quality issues and measurement techniques.
  7. Assist in problem resolution with customers as needed.
  8. Be knowledgeable of startup procedures, customer specifications, cosmetic criteria, rejection reports, and end-of-run procedures.
  9. Complete and close NCMR requests, DHR procedures, deviation procedures, customer return reports, and pre-production approval protocols.
  10. Ensure accurate data entry into databases.
  11. Possess knowledge of blueprint applications and measurement equipment use.
WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS:

Occasional exposure to moving mechanical parts; work environment is very loud and hearing protection is required.
