Job summary

The Fountain Group in Berkeley, MO is seeking a Systems Engineer for a 1-year, fully onsite assignment. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 5+ years or a Master’s with 3+ years of experience, and a security clearance to start.

The position is 100% onsite, Monday–Friday, with a starting pay of $76.60/hr. Responsibilities include planning, designing, developing, and verifying a lifecycle-balanced system of systems and ensuring system compatibility across interfaces while meeting performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or Master's with 3+ years.
• Level 3 or 4 Systems Engineer.
• Experience with military customers and aircraft/military aircraft is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, develop, and verify a lifecycle-balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Evaluate customer and operational needs to define system performance requirements and coordinate interfaces.
• Perform analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
• Conduct analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, survivability, security, regulatory compliance, certification, and product assurance to ensure mission success.

Job Description

• Pay is $76.60/hr to start.
• 1‑year assignment with high potential for extension or conversion based on performance and budget.
• Monday – Friday (7am – 4pm; 100% onsite).
• Security clearance required to start.
• Applies an interdisciplinary, collaborative approach to plan, design, develop and verify a lifecycle‑balanced system of systems and system solutions.
• Evaluates customer and operational needs to define and coordinate system performance requirements, integrate technical parameters and assure compatibility of all physical, functional and program interfaces.
• Performs various analyses to optimize total system of systems and/or system architecture.
• Conducts analyses for affordability, safety, reliability, maintainability, testability, human systems integration, survivability, vulnerability, susceptibility, system security, regulatory compliance, certification, product assurance and other specialty quality factors to ensure mission success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience OR Master’s degree and 3+ years of experience.
• Level 3 or 4 Systems Engineer.
• Experience with military customers and aircraft/military aircraft/fighter aircraft is preferred but not required.
