Job summary

HB Rentals, a Superior Energy Services company, is seeking a Welder/Fitter for our Broussard, LA shop. The ideal candidate will have 6GR welding experience and will qualify to HB Rentals' welding procedures.

You will fabricate new equipment and repair existing units, reading blueprints and layouts to plan welds. Responsibilities include laying out materials, cutting and welding with MIG/TIG or arc methods, operating a forklift/overhead crane, and maintaining workshop cleanliness while following

Qualifications

• Required 6GR Welder Certification or equivalent.
• Must be able to read blueprints and interpretations.
• Minimum two years related experience and/or training.

Responsibilities

• Fabricates skids, stands and frames for housing units.
• Lay out materials and weld using MIG/TIG or arc methods.
• Operate forklift and overhead crane as needed; maintain workshop cleanliness.
• Adhere to QHSE requirements and emergency procedures.
• Repair and dismantle parts as required.
