B&S Piping, Inc. is seeking pipe welders for our shop and field roles. Candidates must be able to pass a 6G SMAW weld test and have experience in pipe welding, or be enrolled in our mentoring program. You will assist with maintaining tools and equipment and perform cleanup duties.

Welders with certifications or completed accredited technical programs will be considered even if years of experience are not yet attained. Travel may be required, with in-house onboarding for initial weeks.

Qualifications

• Must pass a 6G SMAW weld test.
• Experience within the pipe welding field (unless enrolled in mentoring).
• Basic knowledge of the field and ability to maintain tools and equipment.
• Willingness to perform cleanup and housekeeping tasks.

Responsabilités

• Joins, fabricates, and repairs metal using various welding techniques.
• Interprets blueprints/diagrams to determine work procedures.
• Lay-outs and aligns piping components for assembly.
• Inspects welds for bead size and structural soundness.
• May use GMAW, FCAW, GTAW, SAW, or SMAW welding processes.
• Welds in 1G to 6G positions.
• Move and handle equipment safely.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work site.
