TITLE:

Packer C

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Pack in a safe, efficient manner while maintaining the highest quality possible.

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • A High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Legal eligibility to work in the US
  • Previous work experience in a manufacturing setting preferred, with knowledge of production processes, quality control, and techniques for maximizing return on investment
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, with all levels of personnel
  • Proficiency in reading and writing English
  • Basic math skills and mechanical aptitude for machines used in production
  • Dependable attendance and willingness to work non-standard hours as necessary
  • Ability to manage job-related stress and foster productive interactions
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Comply with all safety rules and wear personal protective equipment
  • Understand and follow plant policies, procedures, and quality standards
  • Read and understand job dockets to ensure correct materials are used
  • Start up, shut down, and adjust machines as needed
  • Inspect final products, perform quality checks, document findings, and communicate issues promptly
  • Maintain production pace, meet daily targets, and keep the work area clean
  • Perform other duties as assigned
