TITLE: Maintenance Technician A 8 hours

POSITION OBJECTIVE: Operate in a safe and efficient manner to keep the machines running at optimal level

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school graduate or equivalent
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Basic mechanical knowledge and experience
• Basic electrical knowledge and experience
• Available to work overtime
• Ensure consistent, dependable attendance and demonstrate a willingness to accommodate non-standard work hours as necessary
• Capable of effectively managing job-related stress and fostering productive workplace interactions

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Compliance with company policies
• Assist other technicians
• Troubleshoot simple mechanical problems and make repairs (Bearings, belts, pulleys, chains, sprockets, etc.)
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in assigned areas
• Follow established procedures including standard operating procedures (SOPs), cGMP, food safety regulations, and safety procedures

WORK ENVIRONMENT CONDITIONS SUBJECTED TO IN THIS POSITION:

• Subject to extreme heat, temperatures above 100 degrees for periods of more than one hour

PHYSICAL ACTIVITY REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION:

• Kneeling
• Standing for long periods of time
• Able to work from elevated heights over 8 feet
