The United States Army Reserve is recruiting an entry-level Medical Laboratory Specialist (68K) in Houston. You will collect samples, perform chemical and biological tests to aid diagnosis, and handle blood banking duties while maintaining lab equipment.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident with a valid Green Card
• 17 to 34 Years Old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Meet Tattoo Guidelines
• No Major Law Violations
• No Medical Concerns

Responsibilities

• Collect samples from patients and perform chemical and biological tests to help diagnose.
• Work through unknowns and perform laboratory procedures autonomously and confidently.
• Sample blood types, perform elementary blood banking, maintain laboratory equipment.
• Pack, unpack, inspect, store, and distribute blood and blood products.
