Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $33.00 (commensurate with experience)

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

The Office of the General Counsel for the Agency for Health Care Administration is seeking a highly skilled Paralegal/Senior Legal Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be capable of working with limited supervision and have strong experience in:

  • Document discovery and organization
  • Drafting pleadings and related legal documents
  • Case management and support for active litigation

This position offers a professional and collaborative work environment supporting the agency’s mission and legal operations.

OPS employment is a temporary employer/employee relationship used for accomplishing short term or intermittent tasks.

Knowledge of legal terminology, laws, and legal procedures; ability to conduct fact-finding interviews; ability to comprehend, interpret, and research information, legal documents, and references; ability to record information accurately and produce clear legal writing; ability to maintain organized files; ability to plan, organize, and coordinate work assignments; ability to communicate effectively; and ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with others.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

One year experience as a Paralegal or Senior Legal Assistant.
