A Nanny Match is seeking a full-time nanny in Soho, NYC for an infant starting around 6 months old. Schedule is Monday–Friday, about 8:00am–5:00pm, with a W-2 arrangement and compensation of $35.00–$40.00/hour with overtime after 40 hours.

The role involves feeding, diapering, sleep and feeding schedules, developmentally appropriate activities, outings, light housekeeping related to the child, and keeping a daily log for parents.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of recent nanny experience.
• Extensive experience with infants.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
• Professional references from prior families.
• CPR and First Aid certified or willing to renew.
• Non-smoker.

Responsibilities

• Diaper changes and maintaining hygiene.
• Bottle feeding and sterilizing equipment.
• Maintain child’s sleeping and eating schedules.
• Plan age-appropriate activities to promote learning.

Full-Time Nanny | Soho, NYC

Location: Soho, Manhattan

Schedule: Monday – Friday from approximately 8:00am – 5:00pm

Child’s age at start: approximately 6 months old

Job Responsibilities Include (but are not limited to):

• Diaper changes and supporting overall healthy hygiene
• Bottle feedings, keeping the bottles and other equipment clean and sterilized
• Maintaining the child’s sleeping and eating schedules
• Thoughtfully plan and facilitate age-appropriate activities that promote learning and growth
• Taking the child on walks and to parks and activities
• Managing the child’s laundry
• Keeping the child’s room and the shared spaces in the home neat, clean, and organized
• Reading to the child, tummy time, indoor and outdoor play
• Introducing solids and preparing meals for the child
• Restocking child-related items (e.g., diaper bag, changing table)
• Helping the child reach his milestones
• Maintain a daily communication log with the parents
