About the Position:

Juniper Networks is a leading provider of network security products. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in an innovative software development team and develop cutting-edge networking security technologies.

Responsibilities:

As a Software Engineer, you will design and develop networking security platform software and system software to achieve high availability, scalability, and performance. You will complete software development projects with high quality and collaborate across functional teams, working closely with highly skilled engineers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Solid understanding and hands-on experience with Ethernet, TCP/IP, high availability networking devices, and networking security products.
  • Proficiency in Unix/Linux programming, operating systems, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Experience with Linux or FreeBSD kernel and application programming and debugging skills.
  • Experience with multi-core/multi-thread CPU programming.
  • Proficiency in C/C++ programming and debugging skills.
  • Good verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with router, switch, or security products and L2 or L3 networking protocols.
  • Programming skills in Python or other scripting languages.
  • Experience with unit testing and automation of networking products.
  • Knowledge of computer and networking virtualization.
  • Knowledge of cloud applications, ML, or AI technologies.

Salary Range: $102,400.48 - $147,198.90 annually. The actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and other factors. Benefits include medical, 401(k), vacation, sick leave, and parental leave. Details will be provided upon offer.
